Congressional passage of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022, will unlock billions of dollars of highway and airport infrastructure projects across the country. This legislation, combined with the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (aka Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act), will deliver the largest Federal public works program ever enacted by Congress. Every asphalt producer and supplier will be impacted. This presentation will provide an overview of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, how it works with the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and how infrastructure funding compares to last year’s market. After a brief overview of the legislation, NAPA’s government affairs team, Ashley Jackson, Steve Palmer, and Martin Whitmer, will participate in a panel discussion on the timing for release of the funding to the states as well as the legislative agenda ahead. Our professional experts will take questions from the audience as part of the panel discussion.
