Quantifying GHG Emissions for the Asphalt Paving Industry a Climate Stewardship Webinar
Increasingly, paving contractors are being asked by stakeholders to quantify the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with their operations. This may come in the form of demand from shareholders for corporate GHG emissions reporting, customer requirements for environmental product declarations, or internal initiatives for process improvement to achieve emission reduction goals. Various tools exist that allow organizations to quantify GHG emissions, each of which has its own methodology, scope, and system boundaries. This webinar will explore the various tools and approaches that organizations use quantify GHG emissions associated with asphalt pavements, ranging from direct emissions associated with operations to cradle-to-grave life cycle assessments (LCAs).
- Learn how to select the right GHG emission quantification approach to meet your needs.
- Understand how to quantify GHG emission reductions associated with common practices in the asphalt paving industry.
- Understand how the scope of the tool affects the outcomes of a study.
