Description: Most Balanced Mix Design (BMD) research has focused on the mix design process; however, in order to ensure BMD meets its full potential, BMD must be incorporated into quality assurance. This webinar explores from the perspectives of a researcher and a contractor what it will take to move BMD from design to production.
The participants of this webinar will:
1. Understand the current state of BMD in the United States
2. Learn the steps taken by NCAT to evaluate mixture performance tests during production
3. Evaluate how production variability can impact performance test results during production
